Catherine Boyan: Caring for Baltimore From Afar

Catherine Boyan is a fifth-generation Baltimorean who attended Baltimore City schools, including Western High School just after it was first integrated. Her mother, Carol Frank Rosenberg, was deeply involved with politics and community-building in Baltimore. Carol included BCF in her will, and after her death her daughters created a Fund for Neighborhoods at BCF in her name.

Though Catherine has lived in Vermont for many years, she has included a gift for Baltimore in her will, like her mother. Her legacy gift will establish a Fund for Baltimore at BCF that will continue to give back to the community that has meant so much to her family for generations.
